What We Do
We help small businesses across Canada to get their information out on the Internet, attract new business, and sometimes even sell their products and services online.
We do this with our full-service website package that has plenty of easy-to-use, do-it-yourself tools. By “full-service” we mean we take care of everything: design, organizing and inputting information, domain name registration and management, email accounts, website hosting, search engine marketing, unlimited updates, and our customers can even easily update their website themselves if they want to from anywhere at any time without knowing anything about website programming.
Who We Are
Websites.ca was started in 1999 by two Winnipeg guys studying in Montreal. When most business websites were expensive and overly flashy, they had the idea to create a service for small business that didn’t cost a lot, that let the customer update the website themselves, and where we would take care of all the confusing back-end stuff.
After 12 years we’ve made thousands of websites, gotten to know thousands of great small business people across Canada, and done our little part to help them succeed. Our website package still doesn’t cost a lot, doesn’t take a lot of hassle to get started and keep running, and our team is here to help year-round from our offices in Winnipeg, Montreal, and Calgary – by telephone, email, text-message, or in person.
What We’ve Learned
The #1 thing we’ve learned is that our relationship with our customers is what matters the most. We work hard to make great looking websites that work great, but our focus is on treating our customers how we want to be treated. We answer the phone when they call, we keep them up to date on their projects, we are honest and direct, and we sincerely want to help them succeed.
