Change Width or Background
Layout
The Layout button is used for changing various settings related to the look & feel of your website.

Presented will be a list of Layout Parameters such as Background Color. Each Layout Parameter can be edited by clicking its Edit button. Now if you go back to the site and refresh your browser, you will notice the change.
Layout Parameter Types
There are 5 types of Layout Parameters.
- Color: This can be a hexadecimal color code prefixed with # (such as #CD45DD or #EEE) or simply the name of a color (such as red or lightblue).
- PixelSize: This is simply a number which specifies a number of pixels. This is typically used to specify the width or height of certain content areas. Please note that a page's width is typically not exceeded by 760 pixels.
- Font: A font face coupled with a font size. We only provide a limited number of standard fonts so that they will be recognized by all client computers viewing your site. Other fonts may not be supported causing your website to be rendered in the visitor's default font. This limited selection of font faces protects you from this problem.
- Image: An image from your image library.
- GlobalContent: A block of content from your Global Content repository (only some layouts support Global Content).
Global Content
A Global Content block is a piece of content which is associated with Layouts or Layout Definitions which help you organize and replicate content across pages easily. To access your Global Content, simply click the Global Content link while you are managing Pages.
Note: This feature is disabled by default for your account. If you would like it enabled, please contact us.
Editing Global Content is just like editing a basic rich-text page. You can create a block of Global Content by simply naming it and click the Add button. Now you will notice your new block of Global Content in the list. You simply click the Edit button to edit it.
Once you have specified your global content, you need to associate it with a Layout Parameter (note that not all layouts have a global content area, and some may have more than one). Simply click the Layout button and find a Layout Parameter of type GlobalContent (your layout may or may not contain a Global Content block). Simply edit it and find your named Global Content block in the list. Click save and view the changes by going back to your site and Refreshthe page.
