Advanced Page Settings

Each page has advanced settings for hiding a page from your menu, enabling and disabling the branches in a sub-menu, linking directly to an outside URL, assigning a different layout to a page, and password protecting a page.

1. Login to your Account

2. Click 'Pages' in the main tool bar.

2. Click 'More' in the 'More Options' column. Click 'Save' to save the changes, 'Less' to hide the options, and then '<< Back to Site' to go back to your website.

Set the Page Title: Input a title for this page in the 'Page Title' box (If this box is empty, the Default Site Title from your Settings is used.)

Set the Page Description: Input a description for this page in the 'Page Description' box (If this box is empty, the Default Site Description from your Settings is used.)

Hide a Page from the Menu: Check the 'Hide Page from Menu' box if you don't want that page to appear in the menu on your website.

Enable or Disable Branches of a Sub-Menu: The 'Branch Only?' box is checked automatically if a page has sub-pages, this means that the page will not be clickable. Uncheck the box to reactivate the page.

Link Directly to Another Web Page: If you want a button in your menu to link a web page outside of your website, input the address in the 'Link to Another URL' box.

Password Protect a Page: Input a password into the 'Password' box and visitors will have to input that password on your website before they can view the information on the page.

Select Alternate Designs: If you have alternate designs for your website, you can assign a different design for the page by selecting it in the 'Layout Definition' box.
