Manage Shipping Costs in Paypal

In Paypal, you can set the shipping rate that is applied to a customer's order in two ways. You can set the shipping to be a either a Flat Amount based on the total amount of the purchase, or a Percentage of the total amount of the purchase. Unfortunately, at this time, Paypal does not have a way of charging different shipping rates to different shipping destinations. The other option is to include shipping costs in the price of items on your website and you can skip this process.

1. Login at Paypal

2. Input your Email address and PayPal password and click Log In

3. In My Account click Profile

4. Click Shipping Calculations

5. Choose the Currency (usually Canadian Dollar), choose the Cost Method Flat Amount ($) or Percentage (%), click Select. For the Cost and Price Ranges click Edit, then input your Price Ranges (the lowest price range should stay as $0.01, and the highest is and up), then input the Cost values (if you chose Flat Amount ($) these values are dollars, if you chose Percentage (%) these values are a percentage of the total), then click Save. Hint: If you have less than 5 shipping rates, just repeat the same rate for the higher ranges so you can fill all 5 options.
