Websitesca Inc. is privately owned and has been operating since 1999. Our head office is in Winnipeg, Manitoba with satelite offices in Calgary and Montreal. As of January 2012, we're serving small businesses in over 500 cities and towns in every province and territory across Canada with our All-in-One Website Service - a full-service website package with plenty of easy-to-use, do-it-yourself tools. By 'full-service' we mean we take care of everything: design, organizing and inputting information, domain name registration and management, email accounts, hosting, search engine marketing, and updates. With our do-it-yourself tools, our customers can easily update their website themselves from anywhere at any time.
History
It all started in December of 1999 as ManufactureNet.ca with the idea, instead of focusing on flashy and expensive retail websites, of developing a simple, affordable, and easy to update website service for manufacturing, distributor and wholesale type businesses.
With the release of our the software, Mnet 2.0 in 2001 we expanded our service to all types of small businesses and became Conlatus Internet Services.
In 2009, coming up to our 10 year anniversary, we decided that we wanted a new name that would clearly and simply say what we do. We wanted a name that was easy to remember, easy to pronounce, and didn't need to be explained. We acquired the domain name websites.ca in November 2009 and Websitesca Inc. was born.
In 2012, we're opening our new division focused on small businesses in Quebec, delatoile.ca
The Future
Our goal for the next 10 years is to become a market leader in Canada for providing small businesses with a full-service website package that has plenty of do-it-yourself tools. A service that 'just works' so our customers can focus on what they do best - run their business.
We've been really listening to our customers to find out what they want and need so they can get the most out of their website and the Internet. Stay tuned for our new website management software, set to release in early 2012, and if you have any ideas or suggestions, let us know!
